Pastor Scott, as he likes to be called, has been part of the family of God for just over 30 years coming to Christ at the age of 30, but knowing God’s prevenient grace had been with him all along.  His growth in the Christian faith accelerated in 2007 following his Walk to Emmaus experience when his appetite for studying scripture, listening to radio sermons, and leading bible studies became almost insatiable.  In 2011 the Lord needed a pastor for a small country church near Pastor Scott’s home church and he was chosen for the call.  For 6 years Pastor Scott served as pastor for Mt. Bethel UMC in Holly, Michigan before the Lord called him out of this church to address some health and personal concerns. Pastor Scott is once again serving God’s people at the Memphis Global Methodist and Lamb Global Methodist Church, again two countryside churches, and looks forward to seeing Christ live His life through every member. Pastor Scott’s ministry is one of sound biblical teaching as he applies Jesus’ most important commandment to his own life, that being to love one another as Christ loves each person. Honesty, integrity, and authenticity are extremely important in his ministry. Pastor Scott has two wonderful children from a previous marriage, and currently three granddaughters. Pastor Scott has recently married Alma Villacarlos, a wonderful godly woman who has dedicated her entire adult life to serving Christ’s people as a missionary in the Philippines, and together they look forward serving God and His children at the Lamb Global Methodist Church and Memphis Global Methodist Church.
